Man Cave under Contract

Father’s Day is often talked about as the ‘second runner up’ to Mother’s Day. This year, and every year to come, let’s become intentional at recognizing men for all they do to support their families.  How many of you can recall the last time you were in a general conversation and overheard a man talking about his desires to turn one of the rooms into that ‘man cave’?   Let’s look at the opportunities for getting that right home under contract for the men on your homebuyers list.  Sometimes they are looking forward to the empty-nest with the wife, and if this is the case, then it becomes a joint decision to seek out the right square footage on that next downsized home that they are seeking.  Other times, a single working professional man could simply be in the market for the ultimate ‘man cave’ for entertainment with his buddies; and not to mention, that you have that bachelor who is a first time home-buyer (that’s a no-brainer, right?)! 

Although Father’s Day is upon us, as agents we need to consider potential selling points based on the future needs, and long-term benefits of that next home.  Provoke some thought into your clients!  Become intentional and relational as an agent.  Touch the heart of your clients!  Balance their needs with some desirable wants that coupled together for the anticipated life in their new home.  From the Strategic Resources team…HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the men who are role models and/or dads!
